natasha sauerChildren's senses are deeply enriched by nature.  This precious connection to the natural world needs to be nurtured and protected in childhood.  The gift of storytelling is one of the keys to the imagination of a child.  It is essential for the health development of all children.  A rich imagination will develop into flexible thinking as a young person.  A child's heart is open to receiving through the language of stories - this is how they learn.  They are still completely at one with the environment around them; nature still sings and speaks to them.  In the peaceful surroundings and the reverent mood of the BRC the children's soul life will be deeply nourished.  They will experience mindful storytelling, gentle puppetry, nature crafts and activities, joyful singing and nature trails to explore together and silent moments of wonder.
