The Slow Way Retreat Part 2: Feed Me Slowly - Holistic Gut Healing Retreat
This extended retreat offers a deeper journey into The Slow Way building on from the weekend retreat. A holistic yogic retreat uniting nutrition and gut health with nervous-system awareness, and embodied mindfulness. Nicholas McLean of FeedmeGreen will be your guide within - through SomaSensing movement, presence in nature, and immersive Slow Feasts, exploring somatic eating as a tool for deeper nourishment, awareness, and restoration. By slowing down and tuning in, we restore vitality, balance digestion, and open to feel life's immense energy.

You don’t have to be an artist to be able to sketch what is in front of you. Everyone can see that some things are shorter than others or to the left or right of something else. So you simply draw it like that. You don’t have to be - or become - an artist to do that. All you need is one eye and two fingers. Participants will be taken through a series of practice sessions in this type of “Seeing-Drawing” after which they will draw a variety of subjects, from still life through to landscape scenes and portraits - all in the space of two days. Sketching is one of the loveliest skills anybody can acquire. You can take your pen and sketchbook anywhere and experience what it is like to be truly present in where you are. All materials will be provided.
Terry Coleman’s experience spans over 47 years of commercial art from hand-drawn illustrations in the pre-computer days to community projects today. For him, making art is a form of meditation. We see, we feel, we react. No pressure, no perfection. Just you, your tools, and the joy of creating in the moment. Accessible to all levels of experience.

Join us for a personal retreat mid-week and some optional gentle yoga and meditation. Enjoy the tranquillity of the space and embrace the art of doing nothing – seriously. This time out offers a slower rhythm, allowing you to step back from the busyness of life and find peace within.
